Journey to the West: With Heaven-defying Comprehension, I Join Mount Fangcun from the Start

After waking up, Lin Tian found that he had transmigrated to the world of Journey to the West. Before he had even begun cultivating, Patriarch Bodhi took him in as a disciple at Mount Fangcun!

Even more astonishing, Lin Tian awakened heaven-defying comprehension. By listening to the Dao, observing divine arts, and studying scriptures, he could grasp the Great Dao's underlying laws!

When Patriarch Bodhi lectured on the Yellow Court Scripture, Lin Tian grasped an innate method of refining qi. When the Patriarch demonstrated the Seventy-Two Transformations, Lin Tian extrapolated three hundred and sixty transformations. When the Patriarch taught him the Somersault Cloud, Lin Tian instead comprehended a spatial escape art that could traverse the heavens!

Before Sun Wukong had even become a disciple, Lin Tian had already mastered everything in Mount Fangcun's scripture library. When celestial officials from the Heavenly Court came to test him, Lin Tian saw through the roots of their divine arts at a glance. When the Buddhist sect tried to use the momentum of Journey to the West to lay their plans, Lin Tian made his move in advance and cut off their pilgrimage!

In this life, Lin Tian will not fight for the Monkey King's destiny or follow the old path of Journey to the West. He seeks only that sliver of a chance to transcend the Heavenly Dao!

When the gods and Buddhas of the myriad heavens realize that the true prodigy of Mount Fangcun is not Sun Wukong at all... In this Journey to the West, who is the chess piece, and who can command the board?
