Mei Maorui, a fifth-year medical student, suddenly faints while studying for finals, and her consciousness enters the parallel world of Jiangcheng.
Jiangcheng is a world where domineering CEOs pursue their wives at rock bottom. To return to reality, she must choose a role and complete a mission.
So Mei Maorui has a brainwave: instead of choosing the CEO or his darling wife, she chooses the rock bottom itself. In a flash, she lands in the CEO's pursuit-at-rock-bottom scenario and becomes the person in charge of Jiangcheng's pursuit-at-rock-bottom business, known as Director Mei.
