The story of the Zhang family's Nine Gates.
When he was young, Zhang Qishan took in Zhang Xiaoyu and Zhang Xiaojin, who had been cast out by their clan and left to wander. After settling them in, he learned there was another girl from their clan, Zhang Junyao, who was bound by a betrothal.
Before Zhang Qishan could go to meet her, Zhang Qiling, who often lost his memory and was hard to track down, had already secretly sent Zhang Junyao away from the Zhang clan's main family, freeing her from its constraints.
The writing may not be great, and the characters might be out of character.
Author: I write whatever comes to mind, so feel free to give me a heads-up. I don't know how to write Wu Laogou, and I'm not sure what his personality is like, so I'll just go with the TV version.
Main characters: Wu Laogou, Zhang Xiaoyu, Zhang Xiaojin, Zhang Rishan, Chen Pi.
The story continues until Wu Xie becomes the Evil Emperor and Zhang Qiling appears. The female lead is Zhang Junyao, a member of the same clan as Zhang Xiaoge. She has a qilin tattoo.
Romantic tension.
The female lead will marry Wu Laogou and have children with him. She is not the original story's cousin from the Xie family, but Zhang Qishan's cousin. She can't remember the plot of the Nine Gates and has only watched Sand Sea.
Her parents died early, and she grew up with Zhang Qishan, so she knew Zhang Xiaoyu, Zhang Xiaojin, and Zhang Rishan from childhood.
Author: I won't follow the original story exactly, but I'll borrow a few things from it.
