Treading the Tiangang Steps, I Only Kill, Never Save

[No Frustrating Setbacks] [Reborn Celestial Master] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Urban Supernatural]

Two hundred years ago, Xia Lin was the only Celestial Master guarding the dragon veins.

At Kunlun, he faced thirteen great Yin-Yang masters alone.

The bloody battle ended. The dragon veins survived, but the Celestial Master fell.

Who could have guessed that Xia Lin's soul remained intact? When he opened his eyes again, he was in the modern world, two hundred years later.

The Dao Alliance governs the world's cultivation sects. Exorcisms cost 8,800, and the talismans they draw can't even hold back a single White-Haired Corpse.

When they encounter a malevolent spirit, they try persuasion first, then sealing, and finally wait for approval from their superiors.

"This matter doesn't fall under our branch's jurisdiction. Go submit an application to headquarters."

"This ghost still has a grievance. Why not seal it for now and carefully investigate what happened?"

"A life has already been lost. Perhaps there was a reason. Why go so far as to wipe them out?"

The old Celestial Master, who had seen countless common folk die, couldn't stand this pedantic way of doing things.

When vengeful ghosts hurt people, why waste time preaching mercy? When malevolent spirits wreak havoc, why speak of delivering them from suffering?

He steps through the Heavenly Dipper, and thunderbolts shatter every evil.

This poor Daoist only kills. He does not save.
