Can't Bear a Son? I'll Put My Daughter on the Dragon Throne

For ten years, she has desperately taken bitter medicines in hopes of bearing a child, while the court officials and the Empress Dowager join forces to force her from the throne: "The Empress has no son. She must step down and yield her position to someone worthy!"

Awakening from a nightmare, Lu Mingzhao sees the future awaiting her daughter: a brutal death on the snowy road to a political marriage. She smashes the medicine bowl on the spot!

A son? What a joke!

"This consort already has the finest heir in the world!"

She casts aside empty titles, commands a hidden network, establishes schools for women, and lays deadly traps. The thirteen-year-old princess, scorned by all, is trained by her mother to defeat the Northern Rong, bring the imperial clan to heel, and enter the Golden Hall bearing the imperial mandate, dazzling the world!

By the time the court's princes and nobles realize what is happening, mother and daughter have already woven a net from which no one can escape. Female officials wield the seals, and iron cavalry stand in formation!

At his sickbed, the emperor trembles as he asks what she wants.

Lu Mingzhao places the nine-tassel crown on her daughter's head with her own hands and gives the throne a cold glance. "Your Majesty, this consort wants the empire's vast realm. I want you to make my daughter the emperor!"
