Gao Yuan is a devoted father, and his bus is so old and battered it's nearly ready for the scrapyard. Nobody knows that whenever Gao Yuan turns the steering wheel more than three and a half times, the bus transforms into a streak of light, rips through space, and hurtles into a wormhole leading to countless worlds.
Three years ago, Gao Yuan was a domineering CEO, busy from dawn till dusk. Then he found a month-old baby girl, Xiao Nuomi. Seeing the little one in her swaddling clothes giggle at him, he dissolved his company on the spot, stepped down, and became a full-time dad. He thought his life would be nothing but formula, diapers, and diaper cream, until the car radio suddenly spoke while he was mixing a bottle: "Wormhole toll station ahead. Please pay three packs of premium formula."
From then on, Gao Yuan drove this wormhole bus with its built-in System, taking Xiao Nuomi with him through one bizarre world after another.
He negotiates seafood deliveries with a giant octopus in the depths of the sea, teaches robots to sing lullabies in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and, in a desperate star system ruled by natural disasters, quietly pulls a baby bottle from the passenger seat. "Keep it down. The baby's going to sleep."
Then one day, a "Calamity" among the guardians of the galaxy gives him a faint smile. "So you're the one we've been looking for."
Gao Yuan frowns and holds his daughter a little tighter. He thought this was just a story about taking his kid to school, until he discovered that the daughter he'd found was the Daughter of Chaos, who devours natural disasters. As alien battleships surround Earth like an iron barrel, Gao Yuan looks down at his daughter, innocently yawning in his arms, and sighs. "Sweetie, it's time we told the neighbors in the next galaxy to line up and recycle our trash."
