The Shadow Rule: Your Shadow Is Secretly Living Your Life for You

It's rare to see a short story about rules and ghosts with such a great idea. There are no monsters and monsters. The horror all comes from the inner depression and self-abandonment of ordinary people. The shadow will work hard for you who are ruined and take revenge for you who are cowardly, but the price is to completely take away your life. This setting really refreshed my understanding. The heroine Zhou Youyou is sober and sane, not a virgin, does not forcefully save dead people, does not fall in love or engage in ambiguity throughout the whole process, and concentrates on uncovering the truth about shadow replacement, which is very comfortable to watch. The short stories in several units left a deep impression on me: the involved students, the women who were domestically abused, and the insensitive migrant workers, all of them are people that can be seen in reality, and I felt mixed emotions after reading it. The rhythm is very tight, there is almost no nonsense, and the reversals are layered one after another. The dual endings are carefully designed, with hope for the cure and fear for the darkness. After reading this, I can't help but reflect on whether we are living or just escaping from life. If you like psychological thrillers, unit-oriented, and non-CP heroines, this is a must-read. .
