Li Jian died in a car accident during a torrential downpour. At least, that’s what everyone thought.
When she opened her eyes again, she was in the body of Cheng Wu, the cousin of Cheng Xu. Whenever it rains, she can temporarily borrow her own body back. The two of them can only communicate through an old vehicle inspection record book and forty-nine letters written in the rain.
Cheng Wu also discovers that she can touch evidence from the accident while it’s raining. Brief flashes reveal only a sound, a sensation, or a single image.
When the last rain letter reaches Cheng Xu, opening it may make Li Jian disappear forever. If he leaves it unopened, Cheng Wu will never be able to return to her own life. But he doesn’t know that the real Li Jian may be waking up in another body.
