He Zhiyuan, the most corrupt official in the Great Xi, was so greedy that his entire family was sentenced to execution. Just as the executioner's blade was about to fall, he was reborn ten years in the past.
Now he has only one thought: hide his money better, and stay alive longer!
But then the "Eternal Worthy Minister System" forcibly binds itself to him and insists he become an incorruptible official.
The scheming emperor even sends him a red-armored, fearsome warrior: not much of a brain, but plenty of axe. If He Zhiyuan dares accept even a single coin, this simple-minded brute will chop his entire private vault to pieces!
Clinging to the vault door, He Zhiyuan weeps even harder than he did when he was sentenced in his last life. "I'm afraid of dying, not of being rich!"
