My Yin-Yang Pact with a Zombie

The male lead, Chen Yinyang, is caught between being a zombie and a human. The female lead, Ma Linglong, is an exorcist and heir to the Ma family of the Dragon Exorcist Clan.

Chen Yinyang was born in an old tenement in Sham Shui Po. His grandfather was a fortune-teller who wandered the streets, reading feng shui for decades with a mix of truth and lies. His parents died in a car accident when he was three, and his grandfather raised him alone. From childhood, he was told, "Your fate is special, balanced on the boundary between Yin and Yang," but he thought the old man was just rambling. His grandfather passed away two years ago, leaving him an old bookstore buried in debt and a cabinet full of ancient books he couldn't understand. He barely makes ends meet selling secondhand comics and novels. At night, he often dreams of a well, but doesn't think much of it, until a zombie in Qing dynasty official robes blocks his way on the night of the first blood moon.
