Think I'm an Idiot? I'll Humiliate My Whole Family with Poetry

Lu Yuan transmigrates to the Great Yuan Dynasty and becomes the legitimate eldest son of the Duke of Dingguo.

His stepmother schemes against him, the fake heir frames him, and his biological father refuses to hear him out, stripping him of his clothes and status in public before throwing him out of the family home!

"If you're all too blind to see the truth, then I have no reason to stay in the Duke of Dingguo's household! From this day on, we're through. We shall never meet again, alive or dead!"

Lu Yuan gives a cold laugh, writes a severance agreement on the spot, and walks away with nothing.

His family waits to see him end up on the streets, groveling to be let back in.

But what happens next leaves them all consumed with regret!

At the Mid-Autumn Poetry Gathering, he casually composes a poem, "Prelude to Water Melody," shaking the capital and earning the title of immortal poet for the ages!

With a few small business ventures, he becomes richer than a nation and builds the greatest financial empire under heaven!

More terrifying still, the lofty, breathtakingly beautiful and icy empress summons him to the imperial palace in the dead of night. Not only does she grant him power over the entire court, she also insists that he become the emperor!

As Lu Yuan is made a prince and appointed chancellor, sweeping all before him, the Duke of Dingguo's household faces execution of the entire family.

Looking at Lu Yuan seated high beside the imperial throne, gazing down on all living things, his father weeps bitterly while his stepmother kowtows like a pestle pounding grain.

Kneeling in the pouring rain, the whole family begs in despair: "Yuan'er, we know we were wrong. Please come back to the family!"

Lu Yuan sweeps his sleeve and draws the peerlessly beautiful empress close. "Get lost. Do I even know you people?"
