Back to the Jurassic: Sorry, I'm the Predator

A great cataclysm struck, causing Blue Star to expand ten thousandfold and turning humanity's pride and joy, its firearms, into scrap metal. Lu Ting, who worked in a county town, awoke in a wrecked dormitory, surrounded by rats the size of washbasins. With nowhere else to turn, he swallowed the flesh and blood of a mutated rat, awakening the evolutionary instinct hidden deep in his genes. Using nothing but his fists, he fought his way through a hellish factory and rescued Old Zhao, the cook, and his younger brother Lu Ming, a paleobiology student. Together, they embarked on a deadly journey home spanning three thousand kilometers. He devoured mutated beasts and Chinese dinosaurs, honing the pure potential of the human body until he could trample so-called new humans and prehistoric giants underfoot. After returning home, he led the surviving clansmen through the bitter winter and attacks by giant beasts, establishing a hardened stronghold that gradually expanded into an alliance of human city-states. But just as he reached the top of the food chain, he discovered that Blue Star itself was an ancient "evolutionary testing ground," and the cataclysm was merely the arrival of "harvest time." Faced with primordial abyssal behemoths beyond human comprehension and the testing ground's purge protocols, Lu Ting chose to use the ultimate violence of a pure-blooded human to crush fate and every rule, carving out a truly free future for humanity.
