Yan Si, a washed-up celebrity hated across the internet, is on the verge of dying from illness when she unexpectedly binds to a "Spend Money or Die" System. As long as she spends lavishly on her career, she can extend her life indefinitely and get rich! While everyone else in the entertainment industry has to beg and plead for opportunities, she smashes straight through the ceiling of the capitalist establishment with money!
One moment, her unscrupulous boss has dug up dirt on her and is forcing her to sign a twenty-year contract of indentured servitude, and she can't even afford her medical bills. The next, Yan Si sees ten million yuan newly deposited in her account and hires the debt collectors who came to her door as her private bodyguards. In this entertainment industry, where capital holds all the power and online traffic is king, the whole internet is waiting to laugh as she goes bankrupt and disgraces herself. Her rival snatches the luxury dress she wanted? A director forces her to eat spoiled food? A gangster boss lays a trap at a banquet and tries to exploit her?
Sorry, the lady is ready to spend!
They steal her dress? She buys out the entire luxury dress production line for eight million yuan and publicly tears off her rival's fake face on the red carpet!
They make her eat spoiled food? She arrives in a luxury RV, complete with a Michelin-starred chef, and turns a muddy reality-show set into a wilderness luxury resort!
They set a trap at a banquet? She simply buys the entire five-star hotel, locks the doors, and livestreams in high definition as the bullies are hauled off to prison!
A ten-million-yuan cash giveaway turns her haters into devoted fans, while a finance queen fighting for back pay defects to her side with the books. Even the green-tea assistant she picked up on a whim, who cries poverty and begs for hugs every day while driving a six-million-yuan Rolls-Royce to buy discounted bok choy, turns out to be the thousand-billion-yuan heir who rules Jinglan City with an iron fist once his disguise slips?!
The heir smashes the villain's bones with a serving tray, then turns around, all sweetness and charm: "Big Sis, he was so scary. Xiao You was so afraid~"
Yan Si casually tosses out a blank check and sighs. "If I don't spend money, I'll die. Which company should I acquire next? I'm waiting online, and it's kind of urgent!"
