The Jade Emperor's younger sister, Yaoji (played by Liu Tao), secretly pledged herself to the mortal scholar Yang Tianyou (played by Li Guangjie), and the two had three children. When he learned what had happened, the furious Jade Emperor (played by Wang Weiguo) killed Yang Tianyou and pressed Yaoji beneath Peach Mountain, condemning her to never be reborn. Fortunately, Nezha arrived in time to save Yaoji's children, Yang Jian (played by Jiao Enjun) and Yang Chan (played by Zhou Yang), from the Jade Emperor's slaughter.
