Chen Gensheng's parents went away to do business to support his cousin's schooling, then disappeared. His grandparents were so heartbroken that their health steadily declined, leaving the family in the hands of his uncle's household.
But his uncle's family beat Gensheng until he became a fool. To get rid of Gensheng and his grandparents and enjoy a better life, they carried them to the Burial Cave on a stormy night.
Terrified, Gensheng hit his head against the cave wall and passed out. A modern-day fisherman who hunted fish with a spear transmigrated into his body, jolting awake the memories of the fool Gensheng. Gensheng was no longer a fool, and his misfortune even brought him blessings: he gained a wealth of modern knowledge and experience, as well as the Everything-Hunting System.
See how this ancient-day fool uses the System to lead his family and clan to a comfortable life in an age of hardship.
