The wedding ring is ready, but Mr. Liang, the man from Beijing's elite circles, still isn't Cheng Jinyi's boyfriend.

Cheng Jinyi restores the wedding ring that has been passed down for nearly a century. Only before handing it over does she realize the band has been resized to fit her finger.

"Mr. Liang, do you want to marry me?"

"I've never thought about anyone else."

She closes the ring box and pushes it back toward him.

"We haven't even dated. Who said I'd marry you?"

From then on, anyone who wants to see Liang Junheng has to make an appointment.

Anyone Liang Junheng wants to see has to make an appointment too.

She's busy restoring jewelry, while he diligently learns how to woo her.

When she finishes work, he takes her on a date. The wedding ring can wait, but they can't skip a single step of dating.

Later, once they're dating, Mr. Liang finds it harder and harder to leave.

He walks her home and says good night, but doesn't move a step.

Cheng Jinyi holds back a smile. "Is something wrong?"

"Yes."

He lowers his eyes to look at the hand she's reaching out to him.

"Can we set a date for tomorrow now?"

She hooks her finger around his. "Mr. Liang, aren't you missing a step?"

"What is it?"

"A good-night kiss."
