The heavens open seven gates, and red mist engulfs the city. Star beasts select twenty-four Armored Guardians: twelve Zodiac Armors and twelve Celestial Armors.
Ling Ye, a "rat" who grew up in the scrap district, is chosen by the most inconspicuous Mouse Armor. Its skill is... finding things.
He must find the younger sister he lost in the fog three years ago, and the thing waiting behind the seven gates, which refuses to take its place at the table until they have all been gathered.
But monsters aren't the only ones who eat people.
