A catastrophe strikes the ancestral planet, and everyone is dragged into the world of eternal night to fight for survival.
In the world of eternal night, the red sun hangs high by day as Eerie creatures roam, making it extremely dangerous. At night, a golden moon hangs in the sky, and glowing corn sprouts across every open space. This corn becomes vital to humanity's survival.
What you get from harvesting corn might be survival supplies, or it might be... a Sequence Ability!
With just one shelter from the start, some people awaken combat sequences and others support sequences. Jiang Zhou, however, awakens two Transcendent Sequences: [Transcendent Sequence 001: Luck] and [Transcendent Sequence 006: Lucky Clown].
A vague boost of luck allows Jiang Zhou to steadily grow stronger in the world of eternal night. The black clown, dressed entirely in black, sheds his ridiculous image and becomes a holy being who peers into fate and wields judgment.
Can the spark of life born from [Luck] and the clown who escaped from [Fate] help this generation of human survivors rebuild their home and rekindle the flame of civilization?
