Hey, You, the Failing Student! Where Did You Take the Ghost?

Goofy humor + fake humans + mild horror + high-powered urban fantasy + school life

On the first day of his sophomore year, transfer student Bai Jianfei introduces himself: “Hi, everyone. My family has been Taoist priests for generations. If you have a paranormal problem, come see me for 20% off.”

His deskmate, Liu Xiaomei, has a System, but in three years she’s never completed a single mission.

The boy sitting in front of him, Song Zhensheng, tries to pick a fight with him. That very night, a female ghost sets her sights on him.

Class monitor Wang Wenjun reports everyone to the teacher every day and starts the Heavenly Fools Society, yet secretly brings Bai Jianfei chicken drumsticks.

There’s a man-eating book in the library that forces people to update it with 4,000 words every night.

In his dreams, someone comes to fetch him for his wedding in an eight-palanquin sedan.

Bai Jianfei pulls out the prison register his grandfather left behind. “Come on in, all of you. My containment facility has plenty of room.”

Going to school and catching ghosts at the same time is perfectly reasonable, right?
