Chen Yue fell in love with Xu Ze at first sight on a rainy afternoon. He stood in front of the experimental table, talkative, cold, and uninterested in anyone - but she just wanted this person to take a look at her.
She chased him, brazenly. Delivering meals, going to the library with him, sending hundreds of messages, acting coquettishly and doing everything. He rarely replied, occasionally saying "hmm", and occasionally not rejecting her approach. Everyone said that Xu Ze would not change for anyone, but Chen Yue didn't believe it.
Later they got married. She didn't think about the reason - maybe it was because she had pursued her for long enough, maybe it was her father's face, maybe he thought this was okay. The days are still long, and she has plenty of time to wait.
Married life is not what she imagined. She cooks, waits for him, acts coquettishly, wants to be hugged, and warms a cold stone in her arms. Xu Ze went to work as usual, came home late as usual, and didn't remember every day she mentioned. Chen Yue didn't stop. She felt that as long as she kept walking forward, one day he would catch up.
Until a wedding, she discovered that Xu Ze had a vacation, but never thought of using it to accompany her. A co-worker will say "Thank you for marrying me" to his wife, but her husband never says it.
After returning home that night, she left the light on as usual, but she went to bed first.
Later, she stopped waiting for him, stopped hanging on him, and stopped sending a long list of messages. She still washed, cooked and tidied the house, but all the things she had given to her lover were gone.
Xu Ze only felt that the house was quiet and thought she was just tired.
Until one day when I came home, the light in the living room was dark.
She's gone.
