When Su Qingyou opened her eyes, a throbbing pain pulsed through the back of her head.
The familiar yet strange classroom ceiling came into view. All around her, people were making a racket, some screaming and others cheering.
"Holy crap! Fire-type sequence! Level 3 talent!"
"Lightning-type! It's a lightning-type sequence! A genius!"
"I'm so jealous. Why did I get a strength-type ability, and only a Level 1 talent at that..."
Su Qingyou sat up, and a flood of memories that didn't belong to her surged into her mind.
She had transmigrated.
She had landed inside a power fantasy novel called Global Zombie Outbreak: My Lightning Sequence Is Off the Charts, as a cannon-fodder supporting female character who shared her name: Su Qingyou.
Ten years ago, blood rained from the sky in this world, and the dead rose as jiangshi.
Cornered by extinction, humanity awakened the power of "sequences," using their abilities to fight the jiangshi and establish one safe zone after another.
The stronger your sequence, the higher your status.
But she seemed to remember that the original Su Qingyou had the lowest-ranked sequence of all: Spirit Guide?
