The Lucky Taoist: From the Start, I Read the Female CEO's Fortune

Chen Jiu is a wandering folk Taoist priest with only three hundred yuan to his name. Before he left the mountain, his master told him, "You have to make a show of your powers in public, or you won't have anything to eat."

So, as soon as he left the station, he set his sights on Lin Shuangshuang, a female CEO stepping out of a Maybach. He blurted out, "Your forehead is dark. Within three days, you'll suffer a bloody calamity." The CEO scoffed, unaware that this wandering Taoist had already seen the strange mark turning red on the back of her neck.

He had only meant to talk his way into a meal, but somehow his reputation just kept growing. The female CEO came to his door in the middle of the night to have her fortune told. A beautiful police officer chased him around, determined to arrest him. A female celebrity came to him because a fox spirit had possessed her, and a real fox spirit refused to leave his side.

"This priest only collects incense offerings and the power of people's wishes. I'm not interested in women."

"Then why do you only tell fortunes for beautiful women?"

"Because beautiful women believe in me, and their wishes are the purest."

Making a show of his powers in public is his nature; talking big and showing off is his cultivation. It isn't until the Daoist sect's prodigies come knocking that Chen Jiu realizes the power of the incense offerings he has gathered through his unorthodox methods seems rather different from everyone else's.
