"Jian Su Ying, you once asked me why I love you. I'll tell you now: because you're the only one who makes me feel alive."

When Li Yu said this, he was still holding the hangover soup he'd made for Jian Su Ying.

Jian Su Ying took it and sipped, burning his tongue.

Li Yu frowned. "Slow down."

Jian Su Ying said, "Since when do you get to tell me what to do?"

Li Yu replied, "If I don't look after you, you can't even take care of yourself."

Under the same roof, they went from refusing to give an inch to being unable to sleep soundly apart.

Jian Su Ying thought he'd brought Li Yu to heel.

Only later did he realize that Li Yu had slowly pampered him into someone who couldn't bear to be without him.

"Li Yu, aren't you afraid I'll get more and more unreasonable?"

"If you're unreasonable, that's because I spoiled you. So what?"

See? When two top dogs fall in love, it's not about who wins. It's about who spoils the other more.
