The Three-and-a-Half-Year-Old Darling and Her Marshal Father

Jiang Xiaoyun risks her life to save Marshal Lou, who is gravely wounded, then turns around and moves into the Marshal's Mansion with her three-year-old daughter, Ruanruan, a place everyone else goes out of their way to avoid.

Everyone expects the mother and daughter to be thrown out. But then Ruanruan says, "Second Brother, don't be afraid," and the Second Young Master, silent for years and disabled in his legs, reaches out his hand for the first time.

The soft, sweet little girl helps the Second Young Master with his rehabilitation, coaxes the stern old madam into taking her medicine, and charms all four brothers into competing to hold her.

The Marshal's Mansion, once rife with rivalry and intrigue, gradually becomes a harmonious home that the whole city envies.

But Ruanruan's origins are not so simple.

Some insist she is nothing but a burden Jiang Xiaoyun picked up, while others secretly plot to wipe out mother and daughter alike.

Then an old marriage contract comes to light. Marshal Lou looks at Jiang Xiaoyun and asks, "Who did you really save, me or yourself?"
