Feeding Across Time and Space: I Raised My Sister During the Anti-Japanese War

# Across time and space healing #resistant war tears #cubs # Six-year-old Su Nian'an never imagined that the old window grille left by her grandma would lead her to a small courtyard in the occupied area in 1937. There was a girl the same age as her, named Shen Suining. She was wearing patched clothes, but her eyes were as bright as stars: "Sister, are you here to celebrate the New Year with me?" Su Nian'an said: "Yes, let's put up window grilles, make dumplings and watch the New Year together!" But she didn't know that Shen Suining had not spent a full year in three years. When the Japanese came, families were separated and relatives separated. Every New Year's Eve is filled with gunfire and flight. Two six-year-old girls, one in the warm lights of 2024, and the other in the ruins of war in 1940. They put up window grilles across time and space, promising to "definitely reunite next year." Su Nian'an grew up year by year, but Shen Suining was displaced in the war again and again. Until one year, no one answered the window... From then on, Su Nian'an left a lamp and a pair of bowls and chopsticks every New Year's Eve. She finally understood that some people spend their whole lives just looking forward to a peaceful year.
