The family of Gu Mingtang, a folk genealogist, was framed by the powerful minister Shen Guojiu, and the emperor ordered the execution of the nine members of the Gu family. On the night when her family was exterminated, she refused to escape. She and Yulin Wei Pei Zhaoye went to Qingxi to collect evidence, and combined the scattered genealogies, old objects and Nvshu secrets from various branches of the Gu family to prove the life experience of the late Queen Mother step by step. In the end, the injustice was redressed, the powerful officials were overthrown, and the old rule of "women not being included in the genealogy" was broken with the spirit of cultivating the genealogy, and the relationship between the two gradually grew.
