After eighty-three days of unemployment, Zhou Xun finally finds a customer service job that provides room and board.
The only strange thing is that the emergency contact on his hiring form must be a living person.
The first complaint comes from a vicious ghost who’s been driven too scared to leave the closet by eight college students.
“I wrote ‘Get out’ on the mirror, and they covered it with a towel, saying I was distracting them from their raid!”
From then on, Zhou Xun spends every day dealing with haunted-house disputes, failed dream visitations, and hearses that get lost.
His coworkers are afraid of ghosts, his boss is stingy, and the repairman’s hands and head even work on different floors.
He thought the hardest part of the job would be keeping the customers happy.
Then his supervisor hands him a group photo from thirty years ago.
The person in the picture is him, wearing the hoodie he only finished sewing yesterday.
