Teacher, Take Center Stage

He Sui was the homeroom teacher of an honors class at a prestigious private middle school. During summer vacation, her best friend, a top-tier star and movie queen, suddenly dragged her onto a variety show to fill in as a contestant.

To hide her status as a substitute, she followed the director's instructions and casually made up a line for the rehearsal: "I used to focus on my studies, but now I want to try pursuing my dream for once."

She promptly forgot all about it, thinking it was just a line to get through the process.

Who could have guessed that the clip would later spread all over the internet, with everyone believing it? People all thought the top student and teacher had put down her textbooks and bravely set out to chase her dream.

Other contestants did everything they could to stay on the show and compete for a debut spot.

He Sui alone had a single-minded goal: keep a low profile, hide her talents, get eliminated with dignity, and go home to teach on time!

Every day, she racked her brains trying to seem perfectly ordinary and avoid standing out.

But her looks made waves, her personality was easygoing and perceptive, and everything she did became a hilarious viral moment. She won over the casual viewers completely.

Then that mistaken dream-chasing speech sparked a nationwide campaign to protect her:

Her students made accounts to vote for her, her younger brother stayed up all night voting on three alternate accounts, and her parents voted for her every day. Even Luan Zhe, the aloof, ascetic deputy chief of cardiothoracic surgery who had secretly loved her since childhood, quietly cast every vote he could for her.

The more He Sui tried to leave quietly, the more the entire internet believed she was persevering and working hard to chase her dream.

She advanced to the second public performance to help three unfortunate girls, only to discover that they were all secretly rich second-generation kids. She danced the entire routine barefoot, answered questions bluntly on camera, and even pulled out a test paper...

One trending topic after another took over the internet, and her votes skyrocketed beyond control!

When she somehow went from Class F all the way to Class A, He Sui panicked and shouted in front of everyone, "Stop voting for me! I have to go back to school and teach!" Nobody listened. On finals night, she tragically missed her chance to be eliminated and happily won a debut spot.
