The Whole Internet Ships the Aloof God with Me, and He’s So Into It

[BL / Entertainment industry / Everyday life / Sickly top / Livestreaming variety show / 1v1 / Both pure / HE]

Rambunctious on the outside, sensitive on the inside singer bottom & aloof, brilliant, sickly singer-songwriter top who values intelligence

Everyone online knows that Lu Jingyan likes Wen Zhixing.

Everyone except Wen Zhixing.

Lu Jingyan is known throughout the industry as a cool, reserved singer-songwriter. He never seeks publicity or promotion, speaks sparingly, and can't be persuaded to appear anywhere.

Except when it comes to Wen Zhixing...

He cooks for him, joins him on variety shows, secretly hooks his finger at press conferences, and leans close to whisper in his ear.

Wen Zhixing: We're just buddies. What's the big deal?

Then the two of them were paired up for a livestreamed music show, and the comments went wild:

[The way he looks at you is definitely not innocent!]

[Wake up, Wen Zhixing! There's so much chemistry in that look, and you're still insisting you're just buddies.]

[It's going to be hard to wrap this up if these two don't get together.]

Wen Zhixing stared at the screenful of comments, lost in thought:

No way, right? I think of him as a buddy, but he wants to hook up with me?

Lu Jingyan lowered his eyes and tidied Wen Zhixing's windblown hair, his voice calm. "They're right."

Sweet from beginning to end, with an everyday feel and a gentle, slow-blooming romance. Lu Jingyan has a heart condition, but this has an HE, so read with confidence.

A realistic feel, with the relationship developing step by step. Pining and heartache early on, then extra sweet later.

There's some sweetness and angst, but no relationship angst. The challenges all come from fate. Their love is sweet.
