Daxia Calendar
Year 3033: Overseas civilizations use capital, public opinion, and education to infiltrate Daxia on every front. Local culture is disparaged, and faith gradually crumbles.
Year 3086: Overseas powers take control of global education and public opinion, rewrite Daxia's history, destroy its native mythological texts, and promote the worship of foreign gods.
Year 3120: Agents controlled by foreign powers burn every trace of Daxia's native history and culture across the land. Local civilization is completely removed from textbooks, and the younger generation knows nothing of its native deities.
Year 3190: The last old man who knows Daxia's native history dies. Forgotten completely by their people, Daxia's gods grow despondent and fall into slumber.
Year 3333: Fissures erupt beneath the earth. A strange fog engulfs the world, and technological civilization collapses.
That same year, foreign peoples pray to their gods and receive protection. The people of Daxia pray to foreign gods, only to receive a bloody massacre and sacrificial slaughter in response.
With their faith shattered, Daxia's survivors retreat to the mountains and form settlements divided by rank. They discover a way to hunt the strange beings and evolve, struggling to survive.
The storyteller Shen Huai wanders into the mountains, settles in Luohuai Village, and awakens the Storytelling and Summoning Gods System.
He preaches of ancient gods, gathering the thoughts and prayers of all living beings.
One prayer, and the gods descend upon the world.
In an apocalyptic age of despair, he rekindles the divine flame that has been extinguished for a thousand years.
