Li Gang wakes up to find that he has transmigrated into the Pokemon world as Brock, the Gym Leader of Pewter City. The timeline is set after the Silver Conference, where Ash lost to Harrison, and the trio's first journey has come to an end.
Li Gang has always loved Pokemon, especially Rock-type Pokemon. He decides to start in the Hoenn Region and take part in the Ever Grande Conference alongside Ash, while keeping his identity as a breeder.
And so, the little Larvitar: he wants it! The Crystal Onix: he wants it! Aerodactyl: he wants it! Aron: he wants it! Even all three forms of Lycanroc: he wants them too!
What's more, Li Gang plans to build a desert team, so he definitely won't catch only Rock-type Pokemon. (He'll also catch Pokemon he likes, but he'd rather have none than settle for less. No need to worry about him going astray.)
Li Gang sets sail for Hoenn to find Ash, but it all begins when he buys three little Rockruff aboard the ship...
