[Gourmet] [Lighthearted Comedy] [No Romance]
Mao Maotong's nickname is Caterpillar.
After a friend set her up, she took over a pig trotter rice shop.
With no cooking skills whatsoever, she was throwing a fit in the shop.
Then an incredibly fat Persian cat dropped out of the sky and smacked her in the face.
"Hey, gorgeous, want a Gourmet System?"
Her eyes lit up. She thought her good days had finally arrived.
Without even looking at the hundreds of pages of terms and conditions, she bound herself to it.
As soon as the contract was signed, the cat's attitude changed. It said it was a crooked Gourmet System that needed crooked points to run.
The beginner mission was to take down a customer on its blacklist.
If she was unlucky, she might attract Nascent Soul bigwigs from other planes.
Mao Maotong prepared to give up and await death, but the customer drawn from the blacklist turned out to be Little Xi of the Tang Dynasty.
By tricking a child and exploiting a loophole, Mao Maotong finally got her Gourmet shop up and running.
And so began one hilarious episode after another.
