The end of the world is coming, zombies are running rampant, superpowers are awakening, and humans are struggling to survive in the ruins. But what's more terrifying than zombies is an alien who calls himself "Observer of Cosmic Civilization" and crashes into Wu Di's balcony.
Wu Di, before the apocalypse, was an ordinary social beast. After the apocalypse, he awakened to the [All Things Transaction] golden finger - as long as you pay the price, you can exchange for anything. They became the famous "happy enemies" in the survivor camp.
The alien "Gulu" is an intern from a fast-traveling civilization with eight tentacles who feeds on absorbing emotions. It selected Wu Di as its host, claiming to observe the "civilization resilience" of mankind in the end times in order to complete its graduation thesis. But Gulu's way of observation is extremely poisonous: when the zombies come, it will play "cosmic meditation music" for Wu Enemy; Wu Enemy is tortured to the point of ecstasy, but through repeated ridiculous trials, he discovers that behind Gulu's "unreliability", there are interstellar secrets that can subvert the end of the earth - this end of the world is not a natural disaster, but a targeted clearing mission of an alien "scavenger" civilization. And Gulu is the "intern" who was sent to confirm the progress of the eradication.
From then on, Wu Di's daily life became: bickering with his fellow survivors during the day, worrying about supplies, and doing some losing business with his golden fingers; going home at night, he had to serve this picky alien tenant and piece together the truth about survival from its nonsense. One person and one alien, relying on each other in the wasteland, noisily, but in the most absurd daily life, they plant the hottest hope. When the countdown to elimination starts, they become each other's only variable.
