Being a treacherous minister is a perilous business. One careless step, and she'll lose her head. So she'll have to change tack and cling to someone powerful enough to protect her. She looks up and sets her sights on the man seated on the dragon throne.
After finishing a memorial, the emperor looks up. "Aiqing, the way you've been looking at me lately isn't entirely proper."
Su Xu answers seriously, "Your Majesty, I've been seriously considering climbing into your bed."
The emperor's fingers pause. He closes the memorial and says, "Tell me more."
