If he wants her to live, she cannot die.

If he wants to keep her captive, she cannot escape.

He believes they will be bound together for eternity, in this life and the next.

Until one day, she runs away and vanishes without a trace.

When they meet again, the wickedly handsome man holds a gold chain and winds it around his own neck. His eyes are stained a sickly crimson as he begs her in a low voice.

"Zhi Zhi, I was wrong. I deserve to die. Let me atone."

"Please, will you give me one chance to make amends?"

"Can I be your dog this time?"

The man frantically seeks redemption, asking only for her forgiveness.

The one who dragged her into hell eventually leapt into it himself.
