The first time they met, she smiled like a little fox.
"Marry me, and I'll support you!"
His eyes flickered, and his voice was low. "Sure."
Two months into their marriage, she clutched her aching waist and stared at the man beside her, who kept clinging to her night after night, always talking about having little monkeys.
She was completely bewildered.
Weren't they supposed to see each other for just one month a year?!
Wasn't he supposed to be a celibate soldier?!
"Mr. Lu, shouldn't you be heading back to your unit?"
He rolled over unhurriedly, his gaze burning.
"Who was it that said she'd support me for the rest of my life?"
Her eyelid twitched, and for some reason she felt guilty.
He curled his lips into a smile and delivered the final blow.
"Your husband is unemployed now."
