I Returned to the Republic of China With Three Billion Dollars, and the Foreign Powers Kneel Before Me

In late autumn of 1935, torrential rain blanketed the Shiliupu wharf.

Song Yuzhi returned to China in triumph, carrying an exemption from wartime inspections issued by the United States, an immense fortune in foreign currency, and a shipload of industrial machine tools!

The foreigners in the concessions wanted to seize his cargo, the secret police wanted a cut, and the Sakura Nation's Tokko even threatened to drain his cash reserves within three days.

Surrounded by wolves, Song Yuzhi merely flicked away his cigarette ash and made his move with icy indifference.

He mobilized American capital at will and strangled the Kwantung Army's supply lines from across the ocean, forcing financial institutions in enemy nations to kneel and take a loss!

He threw money around to buy off warlords on the spot, claimed a hundred li of land at Dadukou in Chongqing, and raised the Far East's first heavy industry base from the ground!

He even used the highest-level inspection-free transit permit from Jinling to secretly ship machine tools and specialty steel to the revolutionary base areas.

When the iron hooves of the full-scale invasion shattered Lugou Bridge, the supposedly invincible Kwantung Army's armored regiment didn't run into battered Hanyang rifles, but the roaring steel of a heavy industrial complex operating around the clock!

Song Yuzhi: "Who gave you the idea that this land could never make its own steel backbone?"
