Selling Chili Fried Rice in Guancheng, Healing Countless Factory Girls

They say people in Guangdong don't eat spicy food, and that if you cook Hunan cuisine in eastern Guangdong, you'll lose your shirt.

But Wang Qiang, who transmigrated to 1990, knows that a flood of migrant workers from Hunan, Hubei, and Sichuan is about to sweep into eastern Guangdong.

After a grueling day on the assembly line, all those wage slaves want is a mouthful of spice!

With a bucket of his secret chopped chilies, he tears through the moat protecting Cantonese cuisine.

Years later, Wang Qiang's culinary legend is still told across the land.

He conquers a garment factory in four hours, takes an industrial park in five days, and sweeps through the urban villages in eighteen!

In thirty-five days, he lays siege to the foot massage parlors, and in six months, he swallows up Dongguan's four great night markets!
