Silent Snowfall

A false confession made in the name of love, and a deep devotion crushed beneath the weight of power.

When middle-school teacher Yue Ming mysteriously disappears, teacher Sun Wen suddenly turns himself in years later. His confession is a carefully planned sacrifice, meant to protect his former lover Gao Han, who had long since risen to success but was forcibly separated from him by the daughter of a powerful family.

Meanwhile, while investigating a separate case involving a fall from a building, criminal investigator He Yiyang discovers that someone is deliberately obstructing the restoration of crucial surveillance footage. His superior, Lin Yue, puts pressure on him at every turn, while his colleagues ostracize him as a group. The deeper he digs, the more he brushes up against a tangled web of powerful interests. And the bizarre behavior of a young patient named Gao Xiaosheng at a psychiatric hospital seems to be inextricably linked to the layers of mystery surrounding the case...

When the truth lies buried beneath heavy snow, and justice is silenced by power, who is still doggedly searching for that voiceless cry?
