My name is Chen Mo, and I am a locksmith who only takes night orders.
After my father disappeared, I always received some strange orders at midnight: 404 that had been demolished for eight years, old alleys that couldn't be found on the map, and addresses left by people who had been dead for many years.
Every time I arrived at the scene, the toothless copper key my father left behind would become hot. As long as I put it in the keyhole, I can hear the last words spoken by the person in the room before the door is locked.
Some people asked for help, some cried grievances, and some warned me never to open the last door in Echo Alley.
But my father's voice was behind that door.
When the whole city is forgetting some people, I have to decide: Should this key open the door, or seal all the truth?
