Qin Shun was an ordinary servant.
He chopped wood and hauled water, tempering his body and refining his blood. It took him three years just to get started.
No one in the entire sect progressed more slowly than him.
But he had a notebook.
Whenever he hit a bottleneck, a few more lines would appear in it:
Sometimes it said, "Turn your wrist a little more."
Sometimes it said, "Run west. Don't look back."
Sometimes it said, "Don't eat those red mushrooms."
The notebook had never been wrong.
With its help, he climbed higher one step at a time, made a band of brothers who would risk their lives for one another, and stumbled into several opportunities that could have cost him his life.
Everyone said Qin Shun was a man who went with the flow and obeyed fate, and that he was incredibly lucky.
He thought so too.
Until one day, another line appeared in the notebook.
It was unlike anything it had ever said before:
"Do you trust me?"
He stared at those three words all night.
He'd had this notebook for a long time.
So long he'd nearly forgotten where it came from.
So long he'd nearly forgotten...
Was he using it, or was it using him?
You have a writing style that is unique to you, and the character descriptions are good, but the pace in the early stages is a bit slow, it would be nice to update it quickly.
