Duan Tianya (Li Yapeng), Guihai Yidao (Wallace Huo), Shangguan Haitang (Ye Xuan), and Cheng Shifei (Guo Jingan) are the four secret agents of Hulong Manor. Each possesses extraordinary skills beyond the reach of ordinary martial artists, and all serve Lord Tiedan Zhu Wushi (Liu Songren). At this time, the Zhengde Emperor (Deng Chao) is mentally impaired, leaving the political situation in disarray. The Eastern Depot takes advantage of the chaos to seize control of the court and persecute loyal officials. Cao Zhengchun (Li Jianyi), the powerful chief eunuch of the Eastern Depot, abuses his authority and constantly sets himself against Hulong Manor.
