After Being Tricked into Marriage, This Cat Won't Play Along

Scheming, possessive strategist seme × Purehearted, proud cat demon uke

Shi Yan was a newly transformed cat demon when a human bought him to be his husband.

This human was perfect in every way, except that he was stubborn and loved to lie.

He lied that they would leave each other alone after marriage, that once their marriage contract was sealed, Shi Yan could never escape, and that the birth-control pill was actually a tonic...

When the lies were peeled away one layer at a time, Shi Yan realized that every bit of tenderness had been part of a scheme.

The cat understood. The cat had to run.

The first time, Xie Lin held up a collar. “Put it on.”

The second time, Shi Yan went into heat, and they spent seven days lost in pleasure.

Xie Lin said, “You’ll be mine for the rest of your life.”

Shi Yan clutched his aching waist and said nothing.

The third time, Xie Lin was badly wounded. Shi Yan dragged him back from death’s door, then left him with these words:

“Xie Lin, don’t come looking for me.”

Three years later, he was the powerful Prince Jing, while Shi Yan was a shopkeeper in charge of a trading house.

They ran into each other in a crowded street.

Xie Lin cornered him inside a carriage, his laugh tender and lingering.

“Welcome home, my Shi Yan.”
