A young man drained by modern life discovers, in his grandmother's old house after her death, that the Kitchen God image above the family stove can talk. This Kitchen God has watched over his family for three whole generations, but with the incense offerings discontinued, he is now on the verge of disappearing. In the time they have left, a man and a god join forces to recover a piece of the family's past that has long been buried.
