I, Lin Yin, am the last surviving heir of a family of tomb raiders, yet I won't live past twenty-five.
On my birthday, my fingers began turning to sand, an inch a day. In seven days, my whole body would be gone.
Just as I thought I was doomed, my father, missing for fifteen years, sent a bloodstained clay tablet across the sea:
"In the coffin lies my Great Zhou Imperial Guard. Dragon blood can awaken her."
In a single night, I awakened Shen Qingxuan, a silver-haired female general sealed away for a thousand years.
From then on, the Mo family's Thousand-Mechanism Umbrella faced off against cybernetic mechs, the Dragon-Seeking Formula clashed head-on with global armed conglomerates, and the Art of Qimen Dunjia broke the seal of an ancient Sumerian god.
With only seven days left to live, I took the hand of an ancient martial arts general who couldn't even use a phone, but could tear apart a tank with her bare hands, and plunged into the endless sands of the Middle East.
I'll borrow years from Heaven, and while I'm at it, find my father!
