[Behind the scenes] [Darker tone]
Su Chuan accidentally transmigrates into a parallel world. The good news: he discovers he's a super-rich tycoon. The bad news: what do you mean he's terminally ill and only has about three months to live?
With no way out, Su Chuan decides to accept reality and spend his last three months eating and drinking well. Then he discovers that his soul is bound to an Evil Spirits and Strange Tales Record. It contains all kinds of evil ghosts, ferocious spirits, and folk legends. The living souls consumed by the ghosts in the Record feed back into him, extending his lifespan and boosting all his stats.
From then on, evil spirits awaken in what had once been an ordinary city. To people's horror, they discover that ghost stories were real after all...
(The blurb doesn't do it justice. Head to the main story.) [Darker tone]
I like the theme of extraordinary recovery the most. I'll give it full marks first and then let's see how the author performs 😎
The pace of the story is good, and the protagonist is very decisive when things happen.
