Unemployed designer Lin Shen moved into No. 403, Building 9, Xingfuli, an old community, for cheap rent. On the night of check-in, the owner group issued a "property notice" on time at 23:00. Residents who violated the rules would be "forgotten" by the entire community the next day - their household registration, WeChat, and memory were all cleared, as if they had never existed.
