After Three Years as His Secret Mistress, My Patron Prince Was Demoted

After working late into the night for a whole week, corporate drone Song Zhiwan dropped dead!

When she woke, she had become the Prince of Heng's kept woman, living at his country estate.

At first, Xiao Heng told her, "You'll receive fifty taels of silver each month, delivered regularly. But there's one thing: ask no questions and meddle in none of my affairs."

Song Zhiwan wept prettily on the outside, but secretly rejoiced.

[As long as the money keeps coming, I won't meddle in your business. I'll even help your future princess consort through her confinement. Otherwise, I'd feel guilty taking your money.]

In public, Xiao Heng often said, "My kept woman is so frail she can't even take care of herself."

Three years later, with Xiao Heng's wedding approaching, he sent her a thousand taels and told her to leave.

Song Zhiwan didn't hesitate. She packed up and left,

hiding as far away from him as she could.

One morning,

she opened the door and found a beggar lying outside.

He looked exactly like Xiao Heng.

Some other beggars were even urinating on him...

Song Zhiwan couldn't understand how the once elegant and distinguished prince had fallen so low.

Xiao Heng dragged his crippled legs and looked up. Seeing her rounded belly, his eyes slowly reddened...

Song Zhiwan said disdainfully, "What are you looking at? It's not yours."

Three years later...

His motto in life: I want the throne, I want the child, and I want the child's mother even more!!!
