Livestreaming My Shoreline Hauls with the Kids, I Found a Treasure Basin

Su Wan was cheated out of all her savings by a deadbeat man and kicked out with nothing. She returned in disgrace to her island hometown with her four-year-old daughter, Tangtang.

The whole village laughed at them, and her former in-laws declared, "That worthless mother and daughter deserve to starve to death."

Su Wan said nothing. She borrowed a broken phone and took her daughter out to gather seafood and livestream.

To her surprise...

Tangtang patted the mud. "Mommy, there's something shiny here!"

When they dug it out, they found a natural sea pearl. An antiques appraiser estimated it at 80,000 yuan.

Tangtang chased crabs and stepped into a hole. At the bottom was an entire nest of top-grade blood clams, so rare they were almost impossible to buy.

Tangtang played with the water beside a reef and casually scooped up a porcelain shard from a sunken Qing Dynasty ship!

Their livestream grew from three viewers to five million. The whole internet was flooded with the hashtag #LuckyLittleGirlTangtang#.

Her scumbag ex-husband panicked and brought a lawyer to fight for custody.

The in-laws who had once called the child "worthless" also came to claim her as family.

Su Wan smiled and tossed the "Voluntary Waiver of Property" they had forced her to sign into the livestream. Millions watched as they were publicly humiliated.

Then Tangtang tugged at her sleeve and pointed toward the forbidden waters behind the mountain.

"Mommy, there's a really, really big bowl down there."

The eighty-year-old fisherman turned pale.

What lay hidden beneath that sea was enough to shock the entire country.
