Vera, a mage from the West × Nezha, the God of War from the East
Genius magician × unruly, beautiful young man. Eastern mythology × swords and sorcery, happy ending
(Nezha's portrayal draws on Journey to the West and Investiture of the Gods, with some original elements. If that bothers you, please don't read.)
Vera El is the youngest archmage in the history of the Silver Kingdom. Her best friend, Vivian, has been cursed and has only six months left to live. To save her, Vera crosses wastelands and seas to the East in search of a legendary lotus spirit.
She finds him, all right. It's just that this lotus spirit seems to have quite a temper.
When they first meet, they both form the worst possible impression of each other.
But later, that unruly young man in red actually kneels before her. "Vera El, I, Nezha, swear before Heaven and Earth that from this day on, I will be your guardian knight. I will keep you safe and shield you from every calamity. Wherever you go, I will follow, until the day my life ends."
Later still, when Vera is surrounded by the armies of seven kingdoms and has run out of magic, a streak of red suddenly bursts across the horizon.
The young man, clad in lotus armor, blocks an army of thousands with a single spear thrust.
"Vera, who hurt you?"
"Doesn't matter. They're all going to die."
Nezha, for the sake of a strange foreign woman from the West, used his privileges to ask the King of Hell to check the life and death record. The woman killed the ghost, and Black and White Wuchang arrested her. Nezha said: "According to the rules?" She was brought by the young master. What rules do you follow? " This kind of Nezha makes people want to beat him to death, just like those second-generation ancestors who did evil and did not follow the law.
